My hobby is riding long distances on my road bike. In the summer of 2023, I participated in a 1,200 km race in France with my partner. Although we exceeded the time limit, completing the race was a long-cherished dream come true. On my birthday after returning to Japan, my partner gave me a picture of my bike that Miyuki had drawn.

I have always admired Miyuki’s delicate yet warm brushstrokes and vivid line designs. Framed, it becomes even more appealing as an interior decoration, blending seamlessly with the room. Even now, every time I look at it, I am reminded of the joy of completing the race and feel a profound sense of happiness.

I had always been attracted to Kurata-san’s delicate sense and technique, so I decided to have her design the logo for my salon. As a long-time customer, she understood my love for tools and charmingly hand-drew the seven tools featured on my business cards.

Her color and design suggestions were thorough, and we collaborated closely, envisioning the salon space together. The completed logo perfectly matched the salon’s ambiance, the work I do, and my personal vision. I have always felt that Kurata-san is polite, has good taste, and is a genuinely nice person—qualities that are clearly reflected in her design.

When I decided to open my business and needed a logo, Miyuki was the only designer I considered. Her constant smile and approachable nature made her easy to talk to and consult with, putting me at ease.
