Hiroshima Fermentation Joint Research Group: Gin UTA Package Design

This is the second product branding initiative utilizing the “Shingin Seimai” and “Kuragashi” techniques developed by Satake Corporation.

Aligned with the concept of “The brewery sings (Gin), the sake sings (Uta),” the design evokes the imagery of the first product, “Hajime.” Since it is challenging to read “Gin” as “Uta” on its own, we incorporated “UTA” in one stroke, symbolizing a connection from “Hajime” to the eventual third product.

We proposed a stylish package that doesn’t look like typical sake packaging to appeal not only to sake enthusiasts but also to those who have never tried sake and to the younger generation.
